People who have issues are the ones who failed to read the warranty crap. just saying, I hate seeing blame others for something they failed to do on their end :)

hey cable, you on EVGA payroll or what?

I too only buy things with full warranty. My motherboard was an AR board. But they still didn't warranty it. I think I'll take my AR board, which they returned to me, and shoot it with my AR-15 and post it on youtube.

Yes..... I did my everything on my end. That wasn't the problem, they said that I damaged the board and would'nt honor the warranty.

I've noticed other Manufacturers in the past have done similar.. I know the lga 775 board I got from MSI had a big thing covering it saying if pins were bent it voided the warranty.

I see where they are coming from as a company... as I'm sure the majority of returned boards are from people re-socketing cpu's and bending shit.

Unfortunately, you are one of the unlucky ones that didn't bend a pin and probably got some dude getting paid 7.25 an hour screw it up and worry about his job and said.. shit it came this way.

Although I have to say I've never had to return an EVGA product... the one time I tried I didn't register my product in 90 days. I still use them now but mostly so I can help Cable get his 1 dollar for each product I buy ;)

Well it does state if you damage as burn, water damage, they will not honor it nor will any manufacture. Again I have never had to worry about bent pins, etc. I keep my chit tight!!!!!

You cant blame them they are a company. I mean it sucks, but if they do yours they got to do everyone else...

I always take pics of what I am sending previously as well. I protect my ass

Absolutely hit the nail on the head. Thats what I told them too. I told them that you guys (evga) must've damaged the board. They wanted me to send them another $100 to repair the unit. I told them to go fuck themselves and send my board back.

Kinda got me thinking... maybe they damaged the board so they could bill me for the repair. Economy's pretty bad right now, wouldn't put it past a company trying to generate a little extra cash to stay affloat.
